Aims and activities
Bilitis is running a multi-year community organizing program targeted at three specific vulnerable groups – LGBTI youth, LBT and queer women, trans and intersex people. The aim of the current project is to create space for LGBTI community self-organizing activities aimed at unleashing the potential of three self-support groups: BraveLab for LGBTI youth aged 14-29, QueerFemme for LBT and queer women and non-binary people, and T.I.A for trans and intersex people and their allies. Each of the three self-support groups holds regular meetings – at least once a month, at the community center Rainbow Hub in Sofia. The project activities include holding at least 10 meetings per group, or a total of at least 30 community meetings.
Duration: 12 months (January 2020 – December 2020)
The project is funded by San Diego LGBT Pride.
